There is a need for dedicated support to this cohort, from junior racing to full senior, without the unreasonable expectations put upon riders still in their formative years. The step from junior to full senior racing is daunting and presents many, varied challenges.
We aim to be a team that has an appropriate race programme and can offer support as riders grow into their racing careers.

We spend a lot of time racing in Belgium. The well established race scene in Belgium offers a consistent and appropriate level of racing for U23 riders looking to develop their skills. The key elements such as race craft and the physicality of the sport, as well as understanding the lifestyle demands that a careers in Pro cycling presents, all become apparent in a progressive environment.
Plus the racing in Belgium is just great fun!
Named in honour of Tom Simpson – Britain’s first road race World Champion – our team channels his trailblazing spirit.
Advocating and supporting the team during their European programme, Joanne, Tom’s daughter, brings a special connection between the present and past.
We’re driven by history but focused on the future – breaking new ground for women in cycling via the Simpson Scholarship.
